SUHAIYLA HIPPOLYTE

Suhaiyla is an actor/performer of St.Lucian, Montserratian and Nigerian heritage. Born and raised in London. They have performed largely in short form digital projects and music videos for artists including Poppy Ajudha and JGrrey. Suhaiyla has a background in theatre and has recently starred in the BBC short film BUMPED, due to be released on BBC iPlayer in 2024. They are the voice actor behind Rosewater, the first book in John Legend’s publishing imprint, Get Lifted Books. Their previous work has been featured in publications such as Elle, gal-dem and courier magazine.
